Spring Tour Of Homes

Home Tour Volunteer Party Information: Volunteering for RAP has its perks—and one of them is the party we throw for our Home Tour volunteers. The party is Friday, May 1, from 5 pm to 7 pm. If you didn’t receive your invitation, and need to know the location, call 708-0825.

Thank you to our tour sponsor, Regions Bank, and all the wonderful volunteers and homeowners who made our 36th Annual Tour of Homes such a success.

Each spring for the past thirty-six years, residents of the historic district have opened their homes to guests in an effort to raise money for the city’s premier grassroots historic preservation organization. This April 24th and 25th, doors were opened once again for a two-day self-guided tour.

Schedule of Events

The tour featured ten incredible homes and businesses, including a mansion on Avondale’s famed Bourbon Alley, a sophisticated Mediterranean Style bungalow, and a gorgeously renovated home with its own resident ghost. Special weekend events included an antique car show at Park & King, two Art Houses, a raffle and the Jacksonville Magazine Reality Tour, a fun, step-by-step walk through their King Street offices. Plus, more than 20 riders participated in City Cycle’s bike tour of the homes and neighborhood. It was a great weekend!
